Higher Education and Training Deputy Minister, Dr Mimmy Gondwe, has encouraged learners to think about the Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) colleges as a worthwhile and practical alternate for advancing their professions.
The Deputy Minister was talking during an oversight visit towards the post-school education and instruction (PSET) establishments while in the Western Cape this week.
Gondwe explained the TVET colleges as crucial for job creation and youth skills development inside the state.
The Deputy Minister frequented the West Coast College Vredenburg Campus, as well as the Cape Peninsula {University of Know-how (CPUT) Bellville Campus in Cape Town.
Gondwe's visits targeted at assessing the condition of readiness of larger education institutions across the nation, ahead with the 2025 academic year.
Through the visit at West Coast College, she inspired learners to consider pleasure in obtaining artisan techniques as they supply great entrepreneurship options.
"I'm very encouraged by what I'm seeing at TVET colleges, I believe they are the future of this country.
